Our Beliefs & Philosophy

We believe -

  • that all men are sinners and need to hear and learn about the only way to heaven - Jesus Christ.

  • that the "fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."

  • that the faith of a child can be strengthened through instruction in the Word of God.

  • that by instruction in God's Word, a child learns to know his proper relationship to God and his fellow men.

  • that the total being, mind-body-spirit, is in need of a Christian education.

  • that the physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of children must receive careful attention in a Christian education.
that relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance and help, our goals and objectives can be realized for each child.

  • that the Word of God must permeate every area of the educational day, including the secular subjects, physical education, and the fine arts.

  • that each student and staff person will grow in faith and knowledge and live lives exemplifying this Christian faith.

Implications for a Christian Education

  • The curriculum is Bible based. This implies that the obligation of a Christian education is to provide a single environment for the development of the total Christian personality and character. This environment is favorable to spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social growth.

  • The goal of Christian education is life within the family of God now, even more abundantly with Him in eternity.

  • The response of Christian education is service to God through the church, community, and the world.

  • The individual is guided in learning experiences that challenge the maximum development of his abilities.

  • The experiences of school equip the individual with the fundamentals of learning.

School Philosophy
We believe in the one and only Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Man, the foremost creature, was made in the image of God.

Man's fall into sin has corrupted the entire human race, causing it to be damned.

By grace, through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, all sinners have been justified.

Such justification is granted to each person who, through faith, given by the Holy Spirit, receives Jesus as his Savior.

As a believer, he continues to grow in the following areas:

  1. Use of the means of grace, namely, the Word and Sacraments.

  2. Complete fear, love, and trust in God.

  3. Prayer.

  4. Sharing the Gospel.

  5. Conviction of His glorious resurrection into eternal life.

  6. Living in a God-pleasing relationship with his fellow-man.

  7. Living responsively and responsibly within the body of Christ, the Church.
